Cristo Redentor - Rio de Janeiro

Project developed in one month as a freelance job, focused on creating an interactive 3D experience of the Christ the Redeemer running in real time in Unity.

The user can freely explore the monument through first-person movement, as well as switch to an orbital camera that allows viewing the model’s details from different angles.

The environment includes a skybox inspired by Rio de Janeiro, featuring visual landmarks such as Sugarloaf Mountain and the Rodrigo de Freitas Lagoon, recreating the city’s distinctive atmosphere and landscape.

During development, the focus was on accurate proportions, realistic lighting, optimized materials, and real-time performance, aiming for a balance between visual fidelity and smoothness.
